While my love of glass as an art medium has extended over many years, I began working with warm glass in 2012. I was first inspired by a week-long course at Victorian Art Glass and followed that with several additional workshops and courses taught by leading glass artists in North America, including Patty Gray, Lisa Vogt, Tony Glander, Janine Stillman, and Gill Reynolds. My goal is to fuse glass in creative ways that achieve extraordinary results. I love colour, and am inspired by the rich palette provided year-round by our west coast Canadian environment, so my work tends to be on the bright side. I also enjoy creating pieces that have a real presence, so I don't typically think small!
My glass has been exhibited in several juried Fine Arts Shows and I welcome commissions. As a result, my pieces are held in collections in Canada, the USA, the UK, and Australia. Please inquire about any pieces on this site that catch your eye—some may still be available and if the one you are interested in is sold, I would be happy to create a piece, especially for you! I thoroughly enjoy creating glass that inspires others. Thank you for your interest!
